I had a friend ask me why it was important for friends and family to share about our adoption approval with everyone. Good question!

As many of you probably already know, we are trying to adopt again (for the fourth time). What you might not know is that YOU CAN HELP us in this process by getting the word out. Please tell anybody and everybody you know—this will greatly increase our chances of finding a child. You can do this by sharing our Facebook posts, forward/like our Instagram account, hand out our business cards(if you don't have any just ask and we'll get you some), share our adoption website, etc.  Adoption can be a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved. Word of mouth is how we were able to find Mars AND Malcolm. A personal recommendation can go a long way.

If you know an individual or a family who is struggling with an unplanned pregnancy and they aren't sure where to go or what to do, please inform them of the help they can find at LDS Family Services and the option of adoption. LDS Family Services is a wonderful social services agency that provides counseling, resources, and help for unwed mothers—even if they ultimately don’t choose to place their child for adoption. Please make sure to also pass our information to them in the case they do end up choosing adoption.

If the individual or family you know has already decided on adoption then please pass them our information and invite them to contact us.  When an expectant mother does choose to place her child for adoption(whether through LDSFS or not) she can search through many online profiles of adoptive couples and choose the couple she feels will be best for her child. There are A LOT of couples wanting to adopt so please give her the chance to get to know US along with a personal recommendation if you are so inclined. ;)

Thank you for helping us to spread the news. We believe adoption is a wonderful option that can bring true happiness to birth parents, children, and adoptive couples alike. We know that it has already blessed our lives immensely.
